Brown Round Bread Sandwich is an interactive story/workbook about Ishaq, who moves to a new state with his mother and away from the rest of his family. His moms dream is to open her own international store because she is fond of various cultures. But when she packs a wheat pita bread sandwich for his lunch on the first day at Bayside Elementary School, he becomes the target of a class bully. Ishaq quickly learns that he must have a part in making his experiences better. Sherry Babette is an educator with over 20 years of experience and has taught in Harlem, NY, Hampton, VA, and Charlotte, NC, where she now resides. She enjoys teaching remediation, mentoring youth, and coaching young adults as they navigate through life's transitions.
