Biographie:
M. A. Marrissette is an author, local to San Diego, California. Ms. Marrissette has a long history of writing, drama, and performance. As a child, Ms. Marrissette was drawn to the arts. Whether it was dancing, acting, and writing, she had a natural love for arts and culture. Ms. Marrissette competed in several beauty pageants and acting competitions as a young lady. Ms. Marrissette was privileged to have a category created for her in the Celebrity Faces competition for congeniality. Ms. Marrissette was also a debutante, a program designed for a young woman's arrival into society. Scholastically, Ms. Marrissette received awards and high grades for her acting prowess. The award for Superiority in Acting was bestowed upon her at an inter school district dramatic competition. Ms. Marrissette's love for writing remained constant through the years, into adulthood. Ms. Marrissette's love for drama and formal training in the art compelled her to create a back story for a character she developed. The character became one of the main characters in her debut novel, New Breed. Ms. Marrissette has often described the writing process of this book as organic. The characters invited themselves into her life and mind, allowing her to create a solid character piece, filled with thrilling action and romantic sequences that would be sure to appeal to virtually any audience.
