His early childhood days he attended the KPA Hinduschool, CM school and then went on to Southern PolytechnicCollege. Israfil left college in Form 2 and went on to learn tradeat San- Fernando Technical Institute and J.S. DonaldsonTechnical Institute and was employed in many disciplines such asa senior mechanic, instrument technician, electrician, etc..Israfil also holds a Certificate in Poetry, extra studies from theUWI, Trinidad &Tobago. Israfil, who always have a love for poetryfrom a very early age and wrote his first poem in 1963- PutSomething Away since then, Israfil never stops and continued towrite many more poems which you will find in book 1 and book.2at the public library, Port- of-Spain.Israfil who loves reading poems by Rudyard Kipling, RabindranathTagore, Joy Harjo, Toris Okotie and Phillis Wheatley.Vickey Flavney, Avid Reader...
