Résumé :
Ephemeral Echoes is an extension of Saad's passion for poetry: a manifestation of his philosophy and intellectualism. The poems reflect on the schema of existence as a personification of sounds, where essence of existence is flux: flowing sounds. The poems are an expression of being-a testimony to existence regardless of its conditionalities-and relate to various facets of the human condition i.e. illusion, self, dichotomy, subjectivity, objectivity, singularity, multiplicity, morality and etcetera. The debut is an invitation to all of us to embark upon a reflective odyssey i.e. to further contemplate the intricacies of the temporariness of existence-individually and collectively....
Biographie: SAAD ALI was born in Okara, Pakistan in 1980. He is an existential poet and philosopher. He has been brought up in Pakistan and the UK. He has a BSc and MSc in Management Science from University of Leicester, UK. He is a management, marketing, communications and business/academic research consultant and lecturer and trainer/mentor by profession. Saad possesses a broader world view, which is a result of his experiences gained from having lived in a variety of cultural settings. The cogs of Saad's existential machinery are oiled by the muses of arts. The main components of his poetic discourse include: contemplation and satire. Some of his influences include: Vayasa, Homer, Ovid, Socrates, Bastami, Rumi, Ghalib, Nietzsche and Tagore-to name a few. You can reach him via www.saadipoetry.com.
