The former longshoreman becomes a gold prospector and a frontiersman who meets up with thieves and scammers. Now retired, Gerald A. Moriarty was born and raised on a farm outside the small town of Enumclaw, Washington. The absolute beauty of all the surrounding mountains inspired him to both write and to create beadwork jewelry that he sells at bazaars.
