She also describes her original battle with breast cancer and how the death of her husband left her deeply depressed, to the point of feeling suicidal. On leaving the group she found success in musical theatre, most notably playing Mrs Johnstone in Blood Brothers. She has also appeared in Celebrity Big Brother. She still lives near Blackpool....
