Each chapter begins with a discussion of a central topic in normative ethics, one that students already will have encountered in an introductory course in moral philosophy or applied ethics. Biographie: Liezl van Zyl is Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. She works primarily in ethics, in particular virtue ethics and applied ethics.
