Résumé :
Mistaken identity, or the sovereignty of God? When the man Kerstin Leigh Overton has called Daddy all her life claims to have purchased her from her birth father to replace his stillborn infant daughter, her life is turned upside down. Believing everything bad that has happened in her life is his fault, she determines to cut all ties with the only life she's ever known. Without considering the ramifications, Kerstin resigns her job at St. Jude Hospital, where she works as a pediatric nurse, jumps in her car, and heads out across country with no particular destination in mind. In route, she decides to search for the man who sold her as though she were the runt of a litter of pups. Her quest takes her from Memphis, Tennessee to Pleasanton, California, where she is accosted by a teenage girl in the mall parking lot. Five children and one man are convinced she's the children's missing mother. Can she prove her identity? Does she really want to? Perhaps God in his sovereignty is opening a new and exciting door.
Biographie:
After completing a writer's course with Long Ridge Writers Group, Eve completed What's Your Story with Jerry B Jenkins as well as a Journeyman's Program.
Eve's first short story, Too Old, was published by Mature Living. Her first book Unto the Least of These was published with Publish America. Her second book High on a Hilltop was published by Faithful Life Publishers. Then, Eve wrote, If Roses Could Speak. which was also published by Faithful Life Publishers.
Eve, a native of Witts Springs, Arkansas, has had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ since she was eleven years old. She and her husband, Jim, celebrated sixty-three years of marriage on June 28, 2020. Currently, they reside in Ringgold, GA.
