This book provides an introduction to modern methods for computer simulation of physical systems involving continuous variables. Particular emphasis is placed on the use of simulation languages and other software tools widely used in the simulation field. A simple simulation language (provided on 3.5 disk with the book) is used. Commercially available software is also described and applied. Case studies are included and simulation model validation is covered in detail. Real time simulation applications are also discussed.
