VCDX Tom Ralph is an early adopter and firm believer in VMware technologies, with more than 8 years experience in architecture, optimization and troubleshooting of complex virtual environments dating back to ESX 2.5. He is an expert in VMware Cloud, Network Security Solutions and architecture. In addition to holding a VCDX (3,4, and 5) certification, Tom is a VCP (3,4, and 5), VCAP-DCD 4 and 5 and a VCAP-DCA 4. In his current role as as Architect with the Cloud Tenant Operational group, he focuses on the creation of service definitions, the consumption of cloud resources, and the defining of consumption methods for cloud infrastructures. In his spare time, he can be found authoring the Official VCP-Cloud Cert Guide for VMware Press. VCDX Nathan Raper is a highly-skilled IT professional with more than fifteen years experience designing, engineering, administering, and supporting physical and virtual infrastructures. He has expertise as both a customer and a consultant, participating in all phases of engagement - sales, design, engineering, implementation, training, and support. An early believer in VMware solutions, Nate began server consolidations on the VMware ESX Server 1.5 platform and earned his first VMware certification (VCP2 #306) in early 2004. Following tours with customers and a VMware/EMC/Cisco partner, Nate now works for the VMware Global Center of Excellence (CoE) with several of his VCDX peers.
