Biographie:
Mark Timmons is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Arizona. He is the author of Moral Theory: An Introduction, Second Edition (2012), and editor of Conduct and Character: Readings in Moral Theory, Sixth Edition (2011), and the annually published Oxford Studies in Normative Ethics.
Disputed Moral Issues is by far the best reader I have ever used. Its unique strength is its ability to facilitate students' learning about how ethical theory is deployed in order to help us rationally tackle the controversial issues of our age.
