Mount Zion is a profound and insightful meditation on the Holy Scripture written by first-time author Rodney Marcum in collaboration with his wife Reylyn Pagalan Marcum. Having studied the Bible for more than 34 years while meditating and experiencing a deep communion with God, the author has formed a nuanced and astute understanding of the written word of God and specifically how it pertains to our daily lives. That viewpoint is expressed with eloquence and passion within the pages of this book. The author's own expressed views on the writings of the church are further corroborated by the use of many substantiating quotes from the Bible. Reading this book should ideally lead the reader to formulating a greater understanding of the word of God and ultimately...forming a closer relationship with Him. The fourth child of eight, Rodney Allen Marcum grew up in Washington State and worked on the Snake and Columbia Rivers as a carpenter rigger. Currently he lives in the Philippines where he spends his time studying the words of God and recording his thoughts with the assistance of his wife Reylyn, who co-authored this book.
