The framework is modern, but the perspective is historical--including the ancient world, its famous deities and 'birthplaces of immortality,' the figure who 'broke into time in a single location,' and the image of the 'invisible God' in history. --Catharine Savage Brosman, author of Range of Light and On the Old Plaza John J. Brugaletta was brought to faith by the works of C. S. Lewis. He is Professor Emeritus of English at California State University, Fullerton, where he taught courses in Shakespeare, Dante, and Homer, while editing and publishing South Coast Poetry Journal. The Invisible God is his sixth collection of poems.
