Résumé : This book deals with one of the most relevant questions of today and is certain to upset and anger many who hold to the present day concept of what constitutes a Marriage. Marriage and divorce are two subjects that causes endless discussion. Both have the tendency of bringing either joy or sorrow to the individuals involved. The difference between whether one's marriage or divorce is a joyful or sorrowful experience is predicated, in great part, by how their marriage or divorce was approached from a spiritual perspective. Dr. Ledbetter is concerned about the many Christian men and women who are restricted in serving Christ because Satan has convinced them they are living in adultery. He asks, Was their first marriage a scriptural marriage or a non-scriptural marriage? If their first marriage was not sanctioned by God, should they not have the knowledge of battling Satan with the truth and have a life that can be free from such a burden?
