Except for big mergers or important companies' takeovers which are highlighted by the media, companies' takeovers or transmissions are done in secret. Historically, limited company's transition was done within the familial environment. In the entrepreneur's mind, it was obvious for his sons and/or daughters to take over the family business. We will not focus on the handover of family business to heirs as the trend changed. Nowadays family businesses don't always stay in the familial environment. All over the world, company succession is becoming a problem due to the ageing of entrepreneurs. According to a study, one third of managers from limited companies is over fifties and will retire within 15 years. It is an opportunity for young entrepreneurs who want to challenge their current lives and head towards a new professional adventure....
Biographie:
Born in 1965, Jacques Piron lives in Aubel and is a father of five children. After a law degree in Namur, Louvain-La-Neuve, Gand and Rotterdam, he became a legal practitioner at the Belgium bar. Then he studied the Management and he later took a postgraduate International Executive MBA course leading to Shanghai, Sao Paolo and Budapest.
