Wir sollten endlich uber den Namen, mit dem wir uns zu nennen lieben, ins Reine kommen. Ich habe in meiner Schrift kelten und Germanen nachzuweisen gesucht da? das Wort lateinisch ist. Ich bin damit bis jetzt nicht durchgedrungen, und die einstimmige Ant wort meiner Gegner ist, da? das Wort ohne allen Zweifel gallisch sei. Ich selbst halte mich durchaus nicht f?r widerlegt und will hier alles, was gegen meine Ansicht oder vielmehr meinen Beweis vorgebracht worden ist, ausf?hrlich pr?fen.
