Résumé :
Vocabulary is an undeniablly important component of second language learning. Over the years, Many attempts have been made to facilitate the learning of this significant language component. This book is a report of another such attempt. The task-based approach to language learning is claimed to offer a strong theoretical and pedagogical framework within which language learning, in general, and vocabulary learning, in particular, can be facilitated. However, the task-based approach has had its share of criticism as well. One of the basic concerns with regard to task work is the degree of cognitive involvement induced by the task and the way it affects the success of task work. This book includes a theoretical review as well as an empirical analysis of the effect of task-induced involvement load index on second language vocabulary learning. Foreign/Second language learners, teachers, researchers and materials developers may find this book useful....
Biographie:
Abbas Ali Zarei, an associate professor in TEFL, is a member of academic staff at Imam Khomeini International University in Qazvin, Iran. He has had 50 books and 91 papers published. He has also attended and presented at 70 conferences across the world. Maryam Alibeigi is an MA holder in TEFL who teaches at various institutes and universities....
