Résumé :
This story, which helps children understand and cope with losing a parent to incarceration, is about an eight-year old dreamer of a boy, who imagines himself in a series of fantasy adventures as he tries to find out why the police have taken his dad away and explores his relationship with his mother, sister, grandmother and classmates. Ages 7 to 11.
Biographie:
Richard W. Dyches, Ph.D., is the co-founder of Family Bridge Network, a non-profit organization that advocates, through its Children Left Behind program, for children who are the forgotten victims of trauma due to the incarceration, death, abuse or rehab of their parents. He is also an award-winning children's book author, former psychologist, lecturer, and parent.
