Apr?s avoir compl?t? une formation en gastronomie aux c?t?s d'un chef ?toil? de Lyon, le pasteur Francis Foucachon a fait ses premiers pas en th?ologie pratique par une formation sur le terrain ? Lyon avec le pasteur Ken Beach, avant de poursuivre une Licence en th?ologie ? la Facult? Jean Calvin ? Aix-en-Provence. En 1987, Il a ?t? ordonn? dans la Presbyterian Church in America, pour ensuite implanter une ?glise r?form?e ? Repentigny dans la Province du Qu?bec. Durant cette p?riode, Francis a continu? ? poursuivre des ?tudes th?ologiques ? Reformed Theological Seminary ? Orlando. En 1997, de retour dans sa ville natale de Lyon, Francis a cr?? une nouvelle ?glise Reform?e, aujourd'hui l'?glise Reform?e ?vang?lique de Gerland. Il a ?galement fond? et assum? la Pr?sidence de l'?cole Am?ricaine de Lyon. En 2005, il a confi? sa paroisse ? son gendre pour revenir aux USA et permettre ? ses quatre autres enfants d'?tudier ? la Facult? New Saint Andrews en Idaho. Pour rester pr?s de ses enfants et les aider ? financer leurs ?tudes, Francis a cr?? un restaurant gastronomique, West of Paris. En 2011, il a vendu son restaurant pour cr?er et assurer la Pr?sidence de l'Association H?ritage Huguenot, qui offre gratuitement des cours de th?ologie en fran?ais en ligne, en partenariat avec Third Millennium Ministries. He was trained to become a chef in the elite world of gastronomy in Lyon, France before being trained as a minister of the Gospel at the Reformed Seminary in Aix-en-Provence. He worked as a chef in France and Switzerland, and later created his own high-end restaurant in the USA. He was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America in 1987, and ministered as a church planter in France and in Quebec for 24 years.
