      • Résumé :
This publication gives readers good plain advice from Peter on how we ought to live. Read it and take heed to its words. We find here how Peter has been growing in his experience. Peter wishes to encourage Christian believers and so he gives his own personal testimony. This personal note sounds through all the letter. The Christians were experiencing a time of trial (1:6). They needed encouragement from on who knew what trial meant. Peter points away from the trials to the future glory which awaited them (1:7), to the example of Christ (2:21), and the reward which would follow (4:13). In this we have a Word from our sponsor: Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Let this lift you up and fill you with joy!

The Reverend Dr. John Thomas Wylie is one who has dedicated his life to the work of God's Service, the service of others; and being a powerful witness for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.? Dr. Wylie was called to Gospel Ministry June 1979, whereby in that same year he entered the American Baptist College of the American Baptist Theological Seminary, Nashville, Tennessee. As a young Seminarian he read every book available to him that would help him better his understanding of God as well as God's plan of Salvation and the Christian Faith.? He made a commitment as a promising student that he would inspire others as God inspires him.? He understood early in his ministry that we live in times where people not only question who God is, but whether the miracles were and are real, and who the enemy is or if such an enemy exists. Dr. Wylie carried out his commitment to God, which has been one of excellence and earning his Bachelors of Arts in Bible and Theology, along with Pastoral Studies.? Faithful and obedient, with a believing - believing faith unto God's call he continued to matriculate from Emmanuel Bible College, Nashville, Tennessee and Emmanuel Bible College, Rossville, Georgia.? Still inspired to please the Lord and do that which is well-pleasing in the Lord's sight, Dr. Wylie in 2006 completed his Masters of Education with a concentration in instructional Technology from The American Intercontinental University, Holloman Estates, Illinois.? Continuing his graduate education, he completed his Education Specialist Degree (Ed.S).? With a great zeal for education as well as ministry he pursued and further his education and received his Doctorate of Theology degree from The Holy Trinity College and Seminary, St. Petersburg, Florida.Dr., Wylie has served in the capacity of pastor of two congregations in Middle and Southern Tennessee, as well as an Evangelist, Preacher, Chaplain., Christian Educator, and a Published Author of several inspiring Christian publications of which the first caught the attention of The Atlanta Journal Constitution?Newspaper.
