A recent summary Of a report of the U. 8. Government through the Department of Commerce, states that Divorce is increasing faster than marriage in the United States. The report shows that the increase in marriages amounted to per cent during 1926, as compared with 1925; while divorces increased per cent in the same period. In other words. The marriages performed in 1926 numbered an increase of over the number for 1925; and the divorces for 1926 numbered an increase of over the divorces for 1925.
