In Linguistic Polyphony Henning N?lke presents ScaPoLine, a formal linguistic theory developed in Scandinavia in the French linguistic tradition that specifies the linguistic instructions for the creation of polyphonic meaning. Linguistic and textual analyses illustrate how ScaPoLine can be used.
Biographie:
Henning N?lke is Professor of French at Aarhus University, Denmark. He has published monographs, anthologies and many articles on French and general linguistics, including Linguistique modulaire (Peeters, 1994) and Le regard du locuteur 1+2 (Kim?, 1993, 2002).
