3D postproduction might well be the most overlooked part of creating 3D productions. An effective 3D post workflow allows for easier and more flexible editing, greater capacity for VFX enhancement, the ability to fix production mistakes, and much more. It is a topic that has been touched on in other 3D books, but not covered comprehensively, until now. In this book, Baumgartner provides real-life postproduction workflows for post-artists working with stereoscopic 3D media. These workflows have been used on actual productions and when implemented, will save postproduction as well as production teams valuable dollars and time.
Biographie: Rick Baumgartner is a Digital Content Producer specializing in postproduction, visual effects, and advanced imaging. He contributed post expertise to the first digitally captured live-action 3D feature (U2 3D), the first digital 3D television episode (NBC's Chuck vs. The Third Dimension), and the first digital 3D television commercial. Rick received an Emmy nomination for his visual effects work on Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
