Présentation Facing Ali de Stephen Brunt Format Broché
- Livre Sciences de la vie et de la terre
Résumé : Muhammad Ali was a boxing legend who cast a blinding light onto his sport, on the causes he championed and on all of those who surrounded him. While Ali's own story has been told again and again, the stories of those who faced him in the ring have, by and large, been ignored. For each man, that moment alone with him changed their careers, changed their lives, and affected them for ever. Facing Ali tells the story of fifteen men from around the world who fought the heavyweight champion, from famous names like Joe Frazier, Joe Bugner, George Foreman and Henry Cooper to lesser lights such as Tunney Hunsaker and J?rgen Blin. With an updated introduction following Ali's death, the resulting book offers a unique perspective on what it was really like to fight him, and reveals an alternative interpretation of a figure who was once the most famous man on the planet.
