Biographie:
Barbara Ismail is an American author and anthropologist who spent time in Malaysia in the 1970s and 1980s, learning the local languages and getting to know the people. She has drawn on that knowledge for this series of Malaysian mysteries. Ismail lives in Brooklyn.
