Résumé :
Crossing Borders~-- Combining Human Rights Education and History Education explores some of the multiple ways in which history education and Human Rights education can be combined and interlinked in order to empower learners for participatory and inclusive democratic citizenship. The book includes twelve articles offering different perspectives on the combination and thus crosses borders between not only the two fields of education, but also between educational policy, theory and practice. Crossing Borders investigates how these links can be created in a variety of national contexts and educational arenas, which approaches and aspects of both fields are best suited, but also the challenges in doing so.

Biographie:
Claudia Lenz works as Head of Reserach & Development at the European Wergeland Centre (Oslo, Norway) and as associate professor at the Norwegian University for technology and Science (NTNU). Sanna ?rsj?dal Brattland works as education coordinator at the Falstad Centre (Ekne, Norway). Lise Kvande is associate professor in history didactics at the Programme for Teacher Education, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Trondheim, Norway).
