Présentation Second Helpings de Dylan Morrison Format Broché
- Livre
Résumé : Sam Adelson has spent over a decade pouring his heart into Silverman's Deli, the beloved Cleveland institution his family has run for seventy-five years. So when a scathing review tanks his business, Sam develops some strong feelings about the critic responsible. Fantasies involving expired clam juice may be involved. Then Jake Thompson walks through the door--Sam's first love, the one who got away. Reconnecting after twelve years feels like coming home, and having Jake around makes even the chaos of saving the deli feel manageable. But Sam's fought to move on from the disaster that tore them apart, and now pretending it never happened is becoming more impossible every day. As Sam falls harder than he ever meant to, Jake's past begins to catch up with both of them. Some recipes are worth perfecting, even when the first attempt was a disaster - Sam just hopes this one doesn't blow up in his face... Warm, funny, and delectably swoony--a second-chance romance with found family, a chaotic deli dog named Pastrami, and all the comfort-food you could ever want. Perfect for fans of Casey McQuiston and TJ Klune.
Biographie:
**Dylan Morrison** has known he wanted to be a writer since roughly age five. However, Dylan Morrison is also the sort of person who, when falling from the top of a very tall tree, has the marked tendency to hit every branch on the way down. As a result, he attempted to find fulfillment and stability by trying an assortment of other professions on for size, each with varying degrees of success. After determining that he was, in his heart of hearts, neither a project manager nor a recruiter nor an administrative assistant nor a customer service professional nor a social media manager nor at all interested in answering phones for a 24-hour plumber, Dylan was forced to reconsider the possibility that he might, in fact, be a writer. Luckily for Dylan, the condition of being a writer is as incurable as it is permanent, so he did get in some practice during his time exploring other career paths. His fanfiction, which he's been posting online for nearly two decades, has been translated into more than fifteen languages and read by millions across the globe. A queer trans man himself, Dylan has a particular passion for telling stories about complex, layered queer characters, and for depicting those characters finding joy, self-acceptance, and love. Dylan is based in Cleveland, Ohio, where he shares a home with his spouse Rowan, too many books for any two people to read in a lifetime, and a frankly excessive amount of jam. If you are looking for him, your best bet is to check the kitchen, where he is highly likely to be making a sandwich....
