Résumé : Happy, scared, sad, or loved - animals feel them all, just like us. Kind to All Kinds is a gentle picture book that takes children on a journey through the animal world, helping them notice emotions, build empathy, and choose kindness in everyday life. From playful pets to wild wanderers to gentle farm friends, each page invites children to see how animals show their feelings - and why caring for every creature matters. This heartwarming story is for the everyday parent looking for a meaningful bedtime read, therapists and educators supporting children to develop empathy, families with pets who want to deepen their child's sense of care, and vegan families nurturing compassion for all beings. Written by a paediatric occupational therapist with a passion for supporting children's social-emotional development, and beautifully illustrated by Amanda Letcher, Kind to All Kinds is both a treasured story and a practical tool to nurture empathy, build emotional awareness, and recognise kindness in everyday choices.
Biographie:
Mark Maddison is a paediatric occupational therapist and the director of Goalistic Therapy. He works closely with children and families to support emotional regulation, connection, and everyday skills through a strengths-based, neuroaffirming approach. As a therapist, Mark is passionate about helping children notice feelings, understand others, and make thoughtful choices in daily life. His work is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and the belief that small, gentle moments shape how children learn to care for themselves, others, and the world around them. Kind to All Kinds is Mark's first children's book, inspired by his clinical work, his family, and his hope to nurture empathy and kindness from an early age....
