      • Résumé :
In the death throes of Zimbabwe- Rhodesia the brutality of a fire force contact plays out as the SAS engage on operations to blow bridges in neighbouring Zambia. In the aftermath of the brutal Rhodesian War, the battle for survival is far from over. As Zimbabwe emerges from the ashes of conflict, its people are thrust into a new war-one of betrayal, greed, and vengeance. Rob Bennett, a former SAS officer, watches helplessly as his family farm is seized by a corrupt regime. Simon Mutambara, his childhood friend and ex-Rhodesian African Rifles soldier, flees to Botswana to build a new life, but the shadows of the past follow him. Together, they face a ruthless enemy: Fearless, a war vet turned enforcer, and Gumbashuma, a power-hungry military commander with a dark history. Their intertwined stories beginning with a fire force contact engagement reveal themes of loyalty, betrayal, survival, and the enduring scars of war. As the country spirals into chaos, alliances are tested, secrets are unearthed, and justice becomes a dangerous pursuit. From the blood-soaked battlefields of the war to the treacherous corridors of power, Reckoning is a gripping tale of courage, loyalty, and the unrelenting fight for redemption. For fans of historical fiction and political thrillers, Reckoning is a powerful story of survival, revenge, and the enduring human spirit....
