REGULATORS puts you in charge of a small squad of mercenaries hired to clear the city from mutating villains in this top-down tactical shooter game. Enter buildings from the streets, rooftops or sewers, and complete mission goals to locate the scientist commanding the mutating villains. And take them all out!     THE SITUATION An Asteroid crashed in the city, and an Alien substance called the Ooze started seeping out of it. It was quickly discovered that the Ooze had great drug potential, and it had mutating powers to who-ever Oozes up on it!  Sadly you are NOT immune to the effects of the Ooze, but it does come with some handy super powers..    GAME FEATURES Top-down shooter requiring some tactics and strategy. Various missions: intelligence, hostage rescue, detonation, take down and more. Procedural missions mixed in with pre-designed levels. Five playable characters, 2 unlocked and 3 unlockable. Two-player split-screen co-op mode Level editor.    LEAD YOUR TEAM Alongside a host of gadgets, weapon upgrades and handy tools to increase your chances of survival, you also have at least one recruit alongside you following your every move and helping out where needed.   Your recruits will level up and become more useful than just serving as shield or frag meat! Learning tasks like place C4, collect intelligence data, defuse mines and much more.   The most important task for you: operate as a team and make sure you stay a live .. at all costs!     SUPER POWERS The alien substance that crashed in the city doesn't just mutate gang members and various other city dwellers. It has also given you super abilities! Each of the five playable characters has a different super power and a different dodge move.   The game gives you two unlocked characters and three locked ones.     REGULATE THE CITY Complete over 15 missions all over the city, from apartments to industrial area's, hospitals, banks, airfields and scrapyards!  The missions are partly procedurally generated but using pre-designed interior maps. Giving the best of both rogue-likes and custom level-design gameplay.   Can you lead this squad to victory and defeat ""Dr OozeBrain"" ?
