These portraits are of real people, celebrities, and athletes of every culture, race and gender - all of which are experiencing life as it has been dealt to them. In our journeys from birth to death we will all struggle and will all suffer, and the moments in between may be joy, excitement and even orgasmic. These images are caught at 125th of a second document and provide evidence of one's journey through life...

Biographie:
Sandro Miller is a Chicago-based photographic and video artist with an especial sensitivity to people and cultures. Known for his mastery of light and emotional depth, Sandro Miller's work spans the globe and explores truth, identity and the human condition. His portraits (ranging from political series in Cuba to conceptual works with John Malkovich) have been exhibited worldwide and published in The New Yorker, BBC News, American Photo, Smithsonian, Huffington Post, Interiors, among the others.

He published eighteen books, including American Bikers (1998), Imagine Cuba 1999-2007 (2008), Death in the Desert (2021) and A new American Landscape (2023).

With Skira he published Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich. Homage to the Photographic masters (2020), and Crowns. My Hair, my Soul, My Feedom (2021), Sandro Miller is widely recognized as an artist, author, documentarian and humanitarian.
