Résumé : Innerhalb des vorliegenden Werks werden 50 Literaturkritiken vorgestellt, die den Zusammenhang von Werk, Wirkung und Wissenschaft deutlich werden lassen. Dabei werden Prinzipien einer heute angemessenen Literaturkritik verdeutlicht: Literaturkritik sollte immer auch den eigenen Standpunkt ?berpr?fen in dessen psychologischer, biographischer, gesellschaftlicher und kultureller Bedingtheit, und diesen, wenn und wo m?glich, offenlegen. In diesem Sinne wirkt Literaturkritik politisch, d.h. gesellschaftskritisch, auch in der didaktisch sanktionierenden Funktion f?r Literaturproduzent:innen und -rezipient:innen. Die meisten Kritiken, sowohl in der Literaturgeschichte als auch heute, tendieren dazu, ihren Gegenstandsbereich zu ?berschreiten, und wirken auf diese Weise politisch-gesellschaftlich-kulturell. This volume presents 50 literary critiques intended to clarify the connection between work, impact, and scholarship. The principles of contemporary literary criticism are clarified: Appropriate literary criticism should always examine its own standpoint in its psychological, biographical, social, and cultural context, and disclose it whenever and wherever possible. In this sense, literary criticism has a political, i.e., socially critical, effect, including its didactic, sanctioning function for literary producers and recipients. Most critiques, as is the case here, both in literary history and today, tend to transcend their subject matter and thus exert a political, social, and cultural impact.
