Sommaire:
Javier Calder?n Luna, a name that resonates strongly in new Spanish poetry with distinctions such as the Federico Garc?a Lorca Prize from the University of Granada, presents Un decir, a work that won the III Pablo Garc?a Baena Poetry Prize. With this work, he joins the new transcendence movement, drawing on the metaphysical tradition of Chantal Maillard and Juan Eduardo Cirlot, with a clear desire to exhaust the spiritual possibilities of language, where other young voices such as those of ?ngela Segovia, Juan Gallego Benot, and Jorge Sol?s engage in dialogue. Un decir is proposed as an exercise in radical honesty that challenges the boundaries between the individual and the collective, the sacred and the verbal. In these poems, the author confronts the uncertainty of a fluid world, tracing a map of existential coordinates where faith and the vulnerability of reason go hand in hand. In Un decir, Javier Calder?n turns his gaze to the sacredness of the word, from Genesis to the Song of Songs and the Psalms, but he does so through a contemporary lens, peppered with references to popular culture and everyday life. As he himself writes, another god is possible / within language. Javier Calder?n Luna's poetry is a metapoetic exploration of language itself, in which the author questions the act of naming and its consequences. The word is both salvation and condemnation, bridge and abyss. The search for truth is presented as an infinite game, in which 'if we knew what to say / if we knew the answer / the world would end'. This collection of poems is a journey to the origin, to a childhood marked by innocence and the game of 'chained words', and then 'cleansing the name of meaning / descaling the signifier'. Calder?n invites us to accompany him in this reflection, with the promise of 'removing two spines clean of thorns'. Un decir is, in short, a work based on reflection and formal coherence, but which pulsates with the emotion and force of a language full of life, capable of placing us on a new frontier between counterculture and God....
