Biographie:
Fredrick E. Vars is the Robert W. Hodgkins Chairholder of Law at the University of Alabama School of Law. He is a leader in the fields of mental health and firearm law and is the coauthor, with Ian Ayres, of Weapon of Choice: Fighting Gun Violence While Respecting Gun Rights. His writing has appeared in the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, USA Today, and the New England Journal of Medicine, among others.
