Présentation Walk A Lonely Mile de Format Broché
- Livre 12 ans et +
Résumé :
Brian Paige is approaching midlife with a tangle of regrets, old mixtapes, and half-finished schemes. His latest idea-profiting off Nigerian currency exchange rates-fizzles, but it sparks a deeper reflection: how did his life, once so full of creative fire and youthful ambition, veer into so many dead ends? From the loss of his grandfather in the early '90s to a complicated friendship with a girl from Florida in the 2000s, as well as a fraught connection with a fellow nostalgia-obsessed cinephile years later, Brian's journey weaves through decades of awkward growth, unmet potential, and quietly powerful moments of human connection. Along the way, he creates his own lo-fi album, reflects on people who faded from his life over time, and struggles to define what love-and success-really mean. WALK A LONELY MILE is a deeply personal, sometimes humorous, memoir of near-misses, creative ambition and emotional fallout. For anyone who's ever tried to rewrite their past or squeeze meaning out of faded dreams, this is a story about what happens when you finally take a good, hard look back-and realize the only way forward might just be to barrel on through....
