Magic was dying. Honor was all but an idea in the past. Corruption and greed ruled the land. Passion was no more than anger and hate. Then a royal heir was found. An heir no one knew existed. An heir of solid muscle, courage built in battle, and a compassion for his family and fellow elves. Magic clung to him and he gave it freely to all like candy in a pocket. Passion true passion revived. Honor clung to his soul. But it was just a spark. A simple spark against centuries of hate. But flames are born from sparks and fires are born from flames. Maybe magic and elves can be saved. At least Whisper and Sebastian hoped it could. Whisper and Sebastian the forbidden love that still happened.

There in that first meeting of grief a friendship had begun. Then over the years, a deep connection. Finally, they had become more, much more, and shared love often.

Sebastian looked deeply in Whisper's dark eyes. His lips parted and sought hers. They were there soft and full. They tasted like sunshine. She took him deeply and sought every crevice of his lips and mouth. He pulled her close. She broke away. She sat up and with little more than a shake of her shoulders, allowed her tunic to fall. He caught his breath once more. She was beautiful. She always was, but with the glow of magic her breasts had become firm, strong, and very tender. Her desire hardened on her chest. Her skin, bronze in the daylight, turned darker with the night and pulsed with a scent and feel of longing.

Whisper leaned over and pulled the vest apart that bond Sebastians' chest. Her long fingers, traced every muscle in his chest. They lingered on his breast and she leaned down to kiss each and every part of him. His mind went blank. The only thing he knew now was desire. Desire for Whisper.

He heard rather than felt the thump of his wings against the wind. It was a slow, hard thump that pushed air down and moved his body up. His embrace of Whisper kept her close. What remained of their clothing was now spread across a small space of grass just below their undulating bodies.

Whisper felt the heat rising in her loins. Her desire glistened between her legs. Her mind saw the moon outline the embrace of their bodies. Her wings matched the beat of Sebastians. Soon they neither rose nor fell. They hung in the balance, naked in the moonlight, her legs wrapped around Sebastians back, her pelvis pushed against his body.
>The beat of their wings matched the lust of their desires. Their breath came in short hungry gasps. Their wings trembled in heavy fast beats. Whisper's body shook first. Sebastian's head thrust back as his whole body tensed in a hard lock around Whisper. Both shook violently in a silent scream.

Then softly, very softly they fell back to ground. Sebastian lay first. Then Whisper curled on his chest. She listened for his heartbeat and smiled. She was naked in the forest but warm in his embrace. Whisper closed her eyes. She knew she would not wake until the warm sun began its ascent.
