I LOVE horror and mystery books and this one is incredible. There is such intrigue and intense mystery I could not stop reading it. The story line is deep and so engaging and kept my heart racing. Murder, paranormal, and such evil lurks waiting to be found. Smashwords Kathleen Freeborne lives a perfectly normal life until the day her team of paranormal investigators discover the reportedly haunted King's Playhouse Theater on Prince Edward Island. On the morning of the investigation, she suffers a terrifying panic attack, leading her to believe her life is in danger and people are out to malign her. Events escalate from bad to worse when the team arrives at the theater only to discover caretaker Bill Blythe is behaving oddly and ranting incomprehensible religious gibberish. Shortly after his departure, they see a bloodied and battered apparition of a woman who says, Beware the chosen one. Canadian dark fiction author William Blackwell studied journalism at Mount Royal University and English literature at The University of British Columbia. He worked as a journalist and a newspaper editor for many years before pursuing his passion for storytelling. His novels have been characterized as graphic, edgy, and at times terrifying. Currently living on a secluded acreage on Prince Edward Island, Blackwell finds much of his inspiration from Mother Nature, odd people, traveling, and bizarre nightmares.
