This book provides a comprehensive overview of wavelets starting from the fundamentals of signal analysis using wavelets, to cutting edge technologies like optimum wavelet design for specific applications. Dr M S Sinith: Dr M S Sinith (PhD) is the Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Government Engineering College Wayanad, Kerala. He has around 20 years of teaching experience in various institutions. Dr. Sinith M.S has published papers in various national and international journals and conferences. His areas of interest include speaker recognition, music pattern recognition, wavelet based signal processing, image classification, audio classification, Artificial Intelligence for audio processing and blind source separation. He has also been awarded Dr. N. Vasudevan Nair Endowment by CETAA in recognition of his contributions and also has one Guinness World Record on relay music singing in his credit.
