Résumé : A new approach for integrating operational risk management Accountability continues to be a key factor in corporate scandals. While today's governance structures are sufficient, their deployment within the operating environment may not be effective. This is because current thought leadership views accountability and empowerment from a talent management perspective. While this view remains important, organizations need to establish accountability more effectively within the context of the operating environment. By Empowering Accountability, organizations can more effectively deploy their accountability structures. As a result, they can better achieve their business and ESG objectives. This book outlines practices that enhance the G of ESG by addressing today's accountability pitfalls and providing a stronger platform to integrate ESG risk management. These practices also advance the S of ESG beyond the essential and fundamental concepts of equality and acceptance to drive a high-performance organization.
Biographie: E. A. Catlin holds a more holistic view on the effect that risk management frameworks have on performance and engagement, thanks to holding a wide variety of roles in mid- to large global enterprises. These roles often focused on implementing or auditing the application of internal control and risk management frameworks across an enterprise. These experiences were further augmented with certifications in enterprise risk and ESG management that provided a deeper perspective of the effect that such frameworks have on organizational culture, providing a unique perspective of how organizations should empower accountability to better manage operational risks.
