Résumé :
Dive into the dark legacy of the past in the fourth book of The Requiem Series by Douglas Cockell. Requiem For Parish is a ghostly supernatural mystery you won't soon forget. In a haunting world where the echoes of history linger, a chilling and murderous legacy is poised to resurface. Deep within the confines of a shadowy basement overflowing with crates, cardboard boxes, and forgotten memories, the melancholy notes of a piano resonate, revealing secrets that have long been buried. What dark truths lie hidden in the shadows? Detective Eilert Weiss and his partner Prem Joshi are back, trying to unravel the mystery of a girl who appears and vanishes at will. When Weiss calls upon Carly Rouhl for insight, she is drawn into the twisted world of a long-forgotten serial killer. Carly must navigate a treacherous journey along a rail bed lost to time for over sixty years. Her quest leads her to the heart of three unsolved murders and a ritual that threatens to tear the very fabric of reality apart-one that is chillingly connected to the present. Will Carly piece together the clues in time to expose the link between the deadly Archer case and a dark secret buried in the city's history? Or will Detective Weiss become yet another victim in a game of shadows and deception? Don't miss your chance to uncover the truth in Requiem For Parish! Grab your copy today and embark on a heart-pounding adventure where every haunting note brings you closer to the truth, and the shadows of history that refuse to let go. The past is waiting-are you ready to confront it?...
