This 528 page book was written by one of the prisoners who on 01/18/04, took over the gun tower in Buckeye, Az. which became the longest prison hostage standoff in U.S history. I wrote The Beautiful Losers: Convict's Code using a pencil so small it barely fit between my fingers and any piece of paper I could get my hands on to send page by page to my sister so she could edit it and put it in a file until I could finish writing the book.
