Ver-Vert, ossia Il Pappagallo ? una traduzione italiana del poema di Gresset. L'opera narra, in forma parodica e arguta, le avventure di un pappagallo di nome Ver-Vert, particolarmente caro alle monache di un convento a Nantes. La sua fama di virtuoso si diffonde, ma il viaggio verso un altro convento corrompe le sue maniere. L'opera ? una satira sulla societ? e le convenzioni del tempo.
