      Biographie:
Before moving to Los Angles, Larry Mollin was a playwright and the artistic director of Homemade Theatre, a seminal performance group of the 1970s in Toronto, Canada. Transitioning to Hollywood, he wrote and produced prime time TV for over 30 years, beginning with CHiPs. He is best known for his work on Beverly Hills, 90210, for which he wrote and produced 128 hours from 1993--1998---the zenith of the show's success. Mollin returned to the theater world in 2012 with a 1960s-themed trilogy of plays produced in New York City, London, and Martha's Vineyard. Turning to long form, he created the Max Dean Adventures, a trio of novels about an aging detective with a rock-and-roll back?ground. Mollin is also a published poet and songwriter, as well as the cohost of the internationally popular podcast Beverly Hills 90210 Show. The Pool Guy's Kid, published in 2024, was Larry's first young adult novel and the first book in The Pool Guy's Kid series. It introduced Gilly Montrose and his friends in an action-packed adventure brimming with fun, danger and kissing. Crushing Cabo, book two in The Pool Guy's Kid series, with Gilly and company, delivers even more excitement and romance from a master of the young adult genre....

      Sommaire:
In the world of teen drama, I can't imagine a more entertaining writer than Larry Mollin. BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN Crushing Cabo, Larry Mollin's exciting sequel to The Pool Guy's Kid, finds Gilly Montrose and his BFFs on another rollicking---and even more dangerous---adventure. One year after exposing a homicidal conspiracy in Beverly Hills, Gilly and his friends reunite in the California desert. But Gilly's best bud, VJ, is a no-show. He never returned from a yoga retreat in the resort city of Cabo San Lucas. VJ's girlfriend, Leticia, fears that ayahuasca and another woman might be involved. As they set out to find VJ, there's no turning back for the friends. Gilly gains the trust of a mysterious, young travel nurse named Marlena, who holds the key to his best friend's disappearance: VJ is, at that very moment, in a private, cartel-owned hospital, being prepped to have all his organs removed. With the help of a suave young consulate intern, a handsome local lover boy obsessed with 1990s pop culture, a punk mariachi band, and a host of other cray cray characters, the friends dig deep within themselves and discover the skills to persevere. They follow a trail that leads them in and out of the clutches of ruthless cartel killers and a capo who will stop at nothing to protect his investment. As a result, Gilly and company are relentlessly pursued all the way up the eight-hundred--mile Baja Peninsula. Throughout the chase, the pressure to survive builds, the bonds of friendship are tested, and young love and romance flourish in the most unlikely of places. Will they all make it home? Will they live to post about it? And what will Gilly's heart decide?...
