Since the beginning of time, the world has been plagued by demonic spirits and entities. Some terrorize and harm people, and some simply try to make their way back across from the world of the dead to the world of the living. Western African countries such as Nigeria, Benin, and Togo have been terrorized by one of the most evil demonic spirits ever. This demon preys on the young, snatching children away from their parents, taking them to a secluded area, and eventually killing and sometimes devouring them. The younger the demon's victim, the better, because it gains strength from youth. Once the spirit chooses its victim, it will not stop until it gets what it wants. The Yoruba people bravely try to fight it with amulets and simply keep their children in safe zones when they feel that the demon draws close. No one has ever seen it closely. It is believed that it can take many forms, sometimes multiple forms at once, so nobody knows exactly what the demon looks like. Nobody knows where it comes from...or how it finds us. All we know is that it's called Abiku....
