It is written for those who are laboring and heavy-laden, with very little reward to show for their sweat. Life is a tough school, in that it presents us with the test first, and then the learning afterward. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all. This righteousness that the Psalmist is spoken of here, according to the author, only belongs to the followers of Christ. In Christ, God has made us His Righteousness. We are the righteousness of God, and He, the Lord God Almighty is bond by His promises. Faithful is He that promised. Our God is a Promise Keeper. Heaven and Earth may pass away but His word will never pass unfulfilled. If you are looking for a perfect person's story, please drop the book. It is not for you. If you believe however that there are no valleys too low for God to lift, or mountains too high for God to level, this book is for you. If you believe that God is able to use foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and the weakest thing in the world to challenge the strong, keep on reading.
