Résumé :
This Festschrift, dedicated to Wolfgang Reif on the occasion of his 65th birthday, collects contributions written by many of his closest research colleagues and many of his former students. After obtaining his PhD in Karlsruhe in 1991, Wolfgang was appointed professor in Ulm in 1994 and then moved on to a chair in Augsburg in 2000. He was the founding dean of the Faculty for Applied Computer Science where he established an Elite Master programme on Software Engineering together with TU Munich and LMU Munich and the study programme on Computer Science in Engineering. In 2008 he founded the Institute for Software & Systems Engineering and became its scientific director. He has coauthored more than 280 academic publications, led about 30 third-party-funded research projects, and supervised about 40 PhD students. The volume reflects two particularly prominent aspects of Wolfgang's outstanding academic career: the breadth of topics covered by him that range from formal methods, safety, and security over self-organizing systems to robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence methods...
