        This monograph examines stability in complex distributed parameter systems using advanced robust control methods. It presents Lyapunov-based conditions in the form of linear matrix inequalities to establish the stability analysis for the case of constrained control, sampled-data control, event-triggered control, and disturbance rejection control. The book offers innovative strategies to tackle issues related to nonlinearity, uncertainties, and delays. The theoretical contributions of this work are significant, providing valuable insights that extend beyond academic theory into practical engineering applications. The methods discussed are poised to influence real-world problem-solving in this field.         Biographie:
        Systems. She has held numerous visiting positions in Europe, China and Australia. Her research interests include time-delay systems, networked control systems, distributed parameter systems, robust control and extremum seeking. She has published more than 200 journal articles and 2 monographs. She serves/served as Senior Editor in Systems & Control Letters and as Associate Editor in Automatica, SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization and IMA Journal of Mathematical Control and Information. She is IEEE Fellow and was a member of the IFAC Council. In 2014 she was ranked as a Highly Cited Researcher by Thomson ISI. Since 2018, she has been the incumbent for Chana and Heinrich Manderman Chair on System Control at Tel Aviv University. In 2021 she was recipient of IFAC Delay Systems Life Time Achievement Award and of Kadar Award for outstanding research in Tel Aviv University. She is currently IEEE CSS Distinguished Lecturer. In 2023 her monograph Introduction to Time-Delay Systems: Analysis and Control (Birkhauser, 2014) was the winner of IFAC Harold Chestnut Control Engineering Textbook Prize....

        Wen Kang received the B.S. degree in mathematics from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in mathematics from Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2014. She was a Lecturer with the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, from 2014 to 2017. From 2015 to 2017, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the School of Electrical Engineering, Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. She was an Associate Professor in University of Science and Technology Beijing, China. In 2022, she jointed Beijing Institute of Technology as a Research Professor. Her research interests include distributed parameter systems, time-delay systems, multi-agent systems, and ADRC. She serves as Associate Editor for IMA Journal of Mathematical Control and Information, Information and Control, and IFAC MICNON. Emilia Fridman received the M.Sc. and Ph.D in mathematics in Russia.
