Writing has been a form of therapy since I learned how to write. In this collection, I share a few thoughts and ponderings from the previous several years. Some I wrote after a personal experience, some I wrote after immersing myself in a story or a conversation with a friend. I hope these words feel like a cold glass of water on a summer day. Thank you for reading them and choosing to spend time with me via this book....
Biographie:
Maria Collier was born in Colombia, S.A., where she lived until she turned 18. She moved to Tampa, Florida, to attend college, where she fell in love with a Yankee and chose to make the U.S. her home. Maria and her husband have traveled widely, spending a few years in Saudi Arabia before settling in Knoxville, Tennessee. A lover of words, Maria spends much of her time reading and writing. She is also passionate about crocheting, teaching, and serving both others and God. After battling cancer in 2024, she felt it was the perfect time to start sharing her work with the world....
