Zolt?n Andr?s Szab? is an assistant professor at E?tv?s Lor?nd University. Lajos Somogyv?ri works as an associate professor at the University of Pannonia in Veszpr?m (Hungary). Imre Garai is an associate professor in the Research Group for Historical, Theoretical and Comparative Pedagogy at the Institute of Education, E?tv?s Lor?nd University. Andr?s N?meth is a Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, a full professor of Selye J?nos University in Kom?rno (Slovakia), and a professor emeritus at the E?tv?s Lor?nd University in Budapest....

This volume presents the findings of a years-long research project that examines the post-1945 development of Hungarian educational science, considering related international processes.
