Going through the discipleship process can be tough. Life's challenges, hardships, struggles, and daily distractions can become discouraging. Developing a Disciple: Book 2-a refreshing look at how to stay encouraged and remain engaged in the discipleship process-helps to keep the eyes of the heart focused on Jesus Christ. With personal examples of the author's testimony throughout his life, it is not difficult to see how Jesus redeems and reconciles every heart that would come near to His redemptive work. I've already followed up with old friends I have evangelized to see how they are doing and to reengage them in spiritual conversations. This book has also convicted me of my disregard and blocking out of the promptings the Spirit gives me. I believe this book will significantly affect the Body as a whole. The way Greg has conveyed biblical truths is a beautiful reflection of what we find in Scripture. The lessons combine our reliance upon God and the spiritual side to have real growth and change while not neglecting our responsibility as believers to make war on the flesh and walk continually in obedience.
